It shipped quick enough however the tip was bent out of the box. I used some pliers to bend it back into a circle how it should have been. It was easy to install and was very nice it came with hardware because my stock hardware was pretty rusty. The sound isn't ricey at all, it has the good Subaru rumble sound yet will still pass emissions just fine. Not terribly loud which is nice, I can have a normal conversation or listen to music just fine. Compared to a more expensive ($500+) system it really doesn't hold a candle to them, however for the price.... Fitment wasn't too much of an issue, it went on an 07 wagon without any extraneous cutting or welding so that's a plus. The mounting posts are quite a bit longer than the stock exhaust for some reason, which isn't too much of an issue other than you have to put the forward mount on first to make sure it will get into the hanger. The weld qualities aren't the greatest, but then again for the price.... So far it doesn't seem to be leaking which is another plus. It arrived without any damage, which makes me happy, although one mount post was rammed through the box, not really an issue though. Another good aspect of this exhaust over some of the other one's I've come across is that the exhaust tip doesn't contact the bumper, so no melting... Read more |
