Comes shorter for packaging, you have to apply steady pressure to extend it. I used a tire wrench between the the u joints and it slid out to a perfect fit. Also a good idea to place some gear grease on the ends so it slips over your steering column and steering gearbox. Go back after a day or so, and re-tighten the bolts at the connections.It was a perfect fit for my 1990 Jeep YJ. Hurray, I have no more play in the steering wheel. 5 stars if it was made in America, but these days what is? |
