The new EBC Yellowstuff compound is essentially a race pad but with a big difference in that it works from cold and can be safely used on the highway. If you want the ultimate in high friction braking this is the pad to choose. Brakes feel superb from first touch of the pedal and stay effective up to race temperatures. Maximum stopping is prime requirement and for short duration track use. Its dust rating is similar to OEM parts. All pads come with edge chamfers, center line slots, noise reduction shims and OEM hardware as needed. All EBC pads feature the EBC brake in surface coating which helps pads seat quickly after install.

This review is from: EBC Brakes DP41514R Yellowstuff Street and Track Brake Pad (Automotive) Very good bite and tremendous braking power at any given moment, cold or hot. No need to warm them up. Only downside is the loud squeal when i turn the steering wheel and brake at the same time. Tends to squeal more in wet conditions. I hope it disappears after the bed-in process as i have only used it for 100 miles. Overall, an excellent set of brake pads for street and track use. *Update: the squeal has disappeared after 500 miles and the pads have bedded-in properly with the rotors.
